HI I'M BEV.
I'm a Holistic & Somatic Practitioner with over 28 years experience in holistic wellbeing, including 12 years lecturing body-based therapies.
But before I was a practitioner — I was a woman who needed support herself.
I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed and not know why. To feel anxious in a body that doesn't feel safe. To navigate perimenopause while holding everything together for everyone else.
That lived experience is at the heart of everything I do — and it's why I work with patience, gentleness and deep respect for your pace.
Real change doesn't come from pushing or fixing. It comes from creating safety within the body.

MY APPROACH
My work is rooted in the understanding that healing begins with helping the body feel safe enough to soften.
Many of the women I work with have spent years living in survival mode — constantly holding everything together, overthinking, over-functioning, pushing through exhaustion, and struggling to truly rest, even when they know they need to.
For women navigating burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, or perimenopause, the nervous system and body are often carrying far more than most people realise.
This is why we do not begin with pressure, force, or immediately trying to "fix" everything.
Before anything deeper, we gently support the foundations first — reducing nervous system overload, creating more safety within the body, rebuilding capacity, and helping your system slowly come out of constant survival mode.
For many women, learning how to exist more gently inside their body again is not a warm-up to healing — it is healing.
From there, we begin to understand the protective patterns your system has developed over time.
Your anxiety, perfectionism, over-functioning, emotional shutdown, people-pleasing, or inability to stop are not character flaws. They are intelligent protective responses that once helped you cope, stay safe, feel needed, stay connected, or survive difficult experiences.
Rather than meeting those parts of yourself with criticism or shame, we begin approaching them with curiosity, compassion, and understanding.
As more safety and capacity develop, deeper layers can begin to emerge naturally — grief, unmet emotional needs, suppressed emotions, inherited patterns, and the quiet emotional burdens many women have carried for generations.
This work is not about endlessly analysing yourself. It is about helping the body and nervous system finally feel safe enough to soften what has been held for so long.
Everything moves at a pace your system can genuinely tolerate.
Nothing is forced.

PERIMENOPAUSE & HORMONAL TRANSITIONS
Perimenopause is one of the most misunderstood seasons a woman can move through — and often one of the most isolating.
Many women arrive here having already spent years running on empty, only to find that the shifts of this transition make everything harder to hold. Sleep deteriorates. Anxiety intensifies. The body begins to feel unfamiliar.
What is often missing is support that recognises both the physiological changes happening within the body and the emotional layers rising alongside them.
Because for many women, old wounds, long-held tension, grief, overwhelm, and years of self-abandonment can begin rising to the surface during this time — almost as if the body is finally asking to be heard.
You are not falling apart.
Your body may simply be asking for the care, safety, support, and attention it has needed for a very long time.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
I've been in holistic practice since 1997, including 12 years lecturing in body-based therapies.
My training spans the nervous system, somatic embodiment, and the deeper emotional and psychological layers of healing — because lasting change often requires supporting all three together.
My work has been influenced by training in Internal Family Systems (Frank Anderson), Polyvagal Theory (Deb Dana), Somatic Embodiment & Regulation (Linda Thai), Trauma Healing, Anxiety & Panic, Advanced CBT, NLP, Inner Child Healing, Yoga Nidra, and Holistic Coaching.
I continue to invest in ongoing professional development and have a strong understanding of nervous system health, anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, and neurodivergence.
I work in a trauma-informed and nervous-system-aware way. I am not a psychotherapist, counsellor, or clinical mental health practitioner. If you are experiencing severe mental health difficulties or are in crisis, please seek support from your GP or an appropriate mental health professional.
